Professional Certification
The recognized professional rights that have been secured for our graduates, according to Law 4999/2022 – Official Gazette 225/A/7-12-2022, particularly in Section Z – Article 32 – Paragraph 1, are the professional rights of public health graduates (Presidential Decree 83/1989).
Additionally, with the Presidential Decree No. 85/2022 – Official Gazette 232/A/17-12-2022 “Determination of Appointment Qualifications for Public Sector Agencies” (Qualifications – Occupational Categories), particularly in the Government Gazette 7549, Issue A’ 232/17.12.2022, Annex A Qualification – Occupational Categories, it states: “Table 1, Category of University Education (PE), 7. PE Public Health Supervisors, will be added by the end of March 2024, as PE Supervisors of Public and One Health.”
Graduates are granted the right to practice as Public Health Supervisors, possess qualifications for appointment in the public sector (ASEP jurisdiction) in the administrative and/or economic fields according to PD 347/2003 (Official Gazette 315/A/31-12-2003), which amended provisions of PD 50/2001 (Official Gazette 39/A/5-3-2001), unless otherwise specified in the respective call for applications.
They also hold qualifications for appointment in the “PE 87.10 – Public Health” category, as Teaching Staff for Primary and Secondary Education under the Ministry of Education and Religious Affairs (Official Gazette 38/A/2-3-2018, Law 4521/2018).
